As a business owner, one of the most difficult situations to face, is when your business runs into a potential liability for damage to another person’s property or injury to another person. They can arise at any time and anywhere. Liability claims can range from auto accidents involving company vehicles, to falls and injuries by patrons or visitors at your place of business. 

In the event of a liability claim, please call your commercial insurance specialist first at 1.800.876.4163 and report the event, without delay. You will then be able to review the events with your broker and let them know what has happened and how best to contact you. Your broker will report your claim and provide the necessary policy information to the insurance company. A claims adjuster will be assigned and they will be in touch with you to begin the process.

If you are reporting a claim outside of business hours, or if you have an emergency situation requiring immediate assistance that cannot wait for the next business day, you can contact the 24-hour claims service, provided by your insurance company. You will find the name of your insurance company and contact information on your policy documents and we have also included a list of company’s contact details on our website for reference.

As your broker, our role is to guide you through the process of making a claim and to ensure that your claim is handled by your insurance company promptly and fairly. Please keep us informed if you have any questions or concerns, or if you do not hear back from the company adjuster within 24 hours.
